I found this 68 on Ebay. Heres what the ad said "This is a '68 Dodge Charger Sport Coupe, it is a rolling chassie, no engine, the car does have a transmission: I'm guesing it's a 727. This '68 Charger is an excellent project for restoration: good trunk, floor pans, and all glass is in good condition. The seats are the original seats and it does need body work but it's a nice body to start with.   The car comes as a basket case as that is how we recieved it years ago but have never had extra time to put into it. Most of the parts are all present and also there is an extra set of tail lights. The console does have a busted place in the rear. This car is a good start for a project car and has the capability to be a very nice ride once when someone is finished with it.
This was also on Ebay. Heres what the ad said "Vehicle is a restoration project! Has all original windows, designed for automatic transmission, all windows roll up and down, instrument panels in great shape, and wiper arms included. Seats need to be recovered. Excellent solid firewall, inner fender wells solid and in good condition. Does not run- no motor or transmission. All wheels the same and 15' tires. Needs gas tank and floor pan for trunk, also a rt. rear lower frame rail. Interior in good condition, do not have interior trim panels for doors. Sun visors and chrome included, minus a few minor peices. Door handles included. Being sold as is, no title! History to my knowledge, I acquired the car last year, when a gentleman approached me that I work with after learning of my obsession of The Dukes of Hazzard and told me he had a 68' Charger that has set in his field for 32 years and if I wanted it I could buy it and come get it. So I did, I simply do not have the time or the facilities to restore it the way I intended. Added bonus includes- The complete General Lee Decal kit- Mint condition."
This 1966 Charger was on Ebay. The ad said "First Generation Dodge Charger bought from the original owner California car with no rust detected throughout the whole body except for very small area by the back window and the bottom trunk part wheel the spare dwells but not rusted through. This car has been sitting for many years in the backyard of the owner's house. the color is still the original midnight blue. It looks like it was repainted on some parts of the car but only on the outside not by the hinges ect. The paint is peeling off everywhere though. This is a total survivor! The car starts when I put gasoline directly into the carburetor. The tank was full of ancient gas when I took the car I then left it open to let evaporate. I am sure it needs either a new gas thank or you can keep original and have boiled the current one. New lines I am sure are needed. The car is all original The owner even gave me the Manroney sticker from 1966 that was attached on the car when he bought it. Everything is there except for the wheel well moldings lip from all 4 of the them and the antenna that is broken. The big whole on the windshield was caused by some kids that threw a brick at the car when it was parked. I am sure those kids are now teenagers and they deserve a severe punishment for what have done to this car years ago. Any Mopar lover would agree with me. The car has the original black and yellow California plates and was pretty much bought plain Jane without major upgrades or options like no A/C. The interior is white all parts are there and the pans inside the car are in new condition free of rust and looking great. I had to put the car on different wheels because the original tires were flat from the age and I was not able to pull it from the backyard since it was so deep inside covered in plants and grass. I was starting to do the restoration so you can see that the original hub caps are in great shape I have 6 of them. 4 are in great condition 2 of them have very light scratches they all shine nicely. I also have all 5 rims I have taken the tires off that were eaten up by age and agents."
