Off of Ebay: Here is 1970 plymouth 340 cuda with 727 auto and 8 3/4 rear end it has the number matching 340, the engine was pulled out and taking apart years ago, the engine is all complete, with the 340 X heads and original exhaust manifolds, the block is in excellent shape so as the crank and rods and pistons, and there is hardley any ridge in the cylender walls and it will be very easy engine rebuild, all the parts to the engine, are the one that came off the car, the trans was rebuild years ago, and unfortuntley it was exchange at the transmission shop and it is not number matching, I guess you can always convert it to 5 speed. The tires and wheels on the car are not the one that goes with it,the car comes with different tires and wheels. There is no rust around the rear window, the floors are in excellent shape so as the frame rails, but there is some rust in the trunk floor and both quarter panels as you can see in the pictures. Being a Los Angelas car, it never had build sheet.
Another Ebay car: Thank you for looking at this 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner. This item is being relisted because of a dead beat bidder. Please do not bid on this car if you have no intention of buying it. This auction is a binding contract. This car is a very original example of a 1969 Roadrunner that has been sitting for many years. This car is primarily a parts car with a completely original drive train. The car has a very rusted frame in the front on both sides as well as the floor boards. I do not think this car can be restored. The engine and transmission numbers match (see pictures). The engine is stuck, and will need to be completely rebuilt. The air grabber hood is still in tact, however, the front lip of the hood is rusted. The original air cleaner and carburator are still on the car. It appears as though none of the original components have ever been removed. Everything is in tact, including the inspection cover on the bell housing. The transmission is original and complete including the shifter. This car will roll but it does not have any brakes.
An Ebay car: This vehicle is a victim of the Hurricane Katrina Flood. It looks as if it was completely submerged and water did get into the gauges. This car does not run and the motor and transmission are sitting on a skid next to the car. The front suspension is off and the car is sitting on the ground. This may have been a project car before the flooding. All we can tell you about the motor and transmission that came with this car is ,that it’s a V 8 & the transmission is an automatic. Looking at the pictures of the interior it looks like it should be a 4 speed manual transmission but it’s not. Use your judgment on these but it looks like they were not a part of this car.
