Ebay ad: 1971 Pymouth GTX 440, rolling chassis only. Automatic Console, A/C car. Very rare Matching Numbers Motor, Transmission, Rear End, and HP exhaust manifolds will be available to the winning bidder separately. These items have not been removed yet. The prices will depend on how the auction does and will be more than reasonable eitherway. The motor has the factory SIX PACK heavy duty internals, so it can handle the power if you were to add a Six Pack setup. Please let me clearify, that this is not a SIX PACK GTX, it is a true 4 Barrel GTX 440, which is stated on the Fender Tag. It has the heavy duty internal parts that were designed to withstand the SIX PACK horsepower and torque, without blowing up the motor under heavy RPM's. VIN Tag, Fender Tag, and the body numbers match. Last registered in 1980, I have the Galen Govier paperwork proving it's authenticity. A bill of sale will be provided to the new owner. It will need to be restored and it does not run. Not pictured, but included are the GTX grille assembly. The trunk pan is excellent shape and will not need replacing. The roof is very nice and there are no signs of rot around the glass. It will need lower quarters, driver's side floor pan, a rocker patch, and a very small patch where the battery leaked. You can by most of these parts new. The trunk pan is the biggest pain to restore and fortunetly, it doesn't need one! The frame rails look good. There are 2 NOS fenders on the car that have been already been prepped. They need to be completely bolted down completely, so they may appear to stick out.
Ebay ad: You are bidding on an original 1970 383 4 speed Plum Krazy Purple Roadrunner. The body numbers all match again the body numbers all match. The drive train is not numbers matching not the motor, tranny, or rearend. It has a 383 BB motor with headers in it now and it is buildible ( not locked, but not a runner ) Cast iron bellhousing, A833 transmission, 8 and 3/4 rearend with 323 single legger. Drum brakes. 1969 or early 1970 shifter, not pistol grip. The hood is not original to this car and has some dings in it, but no rust and very repairable, it also includes the 383 call out at the rear of the hood. The only rust in this car is at the rear of the car, The trunk center, Very little at the bottom-rear of both rear quarters, passenger bottom corner of rear window, and one small hole at the trunk lip seal at the front drivers trunk hinge corner. The wheel houses and the trunk extensions look very good. All other parts of this car is rust free. The body work was started before I purchased the car, and there is some surface rust starting in the sanded areas, but as you can see there is no hidden craters in this car as most of the metal skin is showing in the pictures. I have a clear title, Fender tag, but no build sheet. Fender tag as follows, V1W-V8W-A87-J25-M21-R11-E63-D21-FC7-H2X9-TX9-A28. As for the glass that is present the rear window, both rear quarter glasses and the pasenger door vent window is all here and in good condition. There is also a brand new windshield for this car. Now for the things that are missing or are unrepairable. One backup light, Seat belts, Flywheel and pressure plate, Flywheel dust cover, Radio, Radio bazel, Rear view mirror, Front bench seat, Arm rests and bazels, Both front eye brow chrome for front fenders, P. L.Y.M.O.U.T.H. letters on trunk panel, Door panels, Carpet and headliner, Radio antenna, Exhaust system. Both door glasses, Drivers door vent window. Someone cut the Z bar ball bracket from the drivers front frame rail with a torch, I do have a complete replacement part. Z bar, clutch pedal assembly and clutch rod are in the trunk. The wiring for this car is all here, but will need some attention. There is many parts and pieces in the trunk as you can see. I think all chrome and stainless is accounted for axcept the before mentioned eye brow chrome. Please ask questions before bidding. If you dont see something that you think is important please ask about it. I will require a $500.00 nonrefundable deposit within 48 hours of auction end and full payment within 7 days of auction end.
